About the show
James Acaster to Headline Jokes and Spokes Charity Comedy Show in aid of The Bike Project alongside other award-winning comedians.
Jokes & Spokes Comedy Night
The Bike Project's Jokes and Spokes charity comedy night is back! We hope you're ready for a night of side-splitting, roof-raising laughter in support of refugees.
We have a fantastic line-up to keep you laughing all night. Enjoy stand-up sets by multi-award-winning comedians James Acaster, Janine Harouni, Catherine Bohart, Jack Barry and more on 10th March at the iconic Union Chapel.
Best of all, your ticket proceeds will support The Bike Project's work to give refugees refurbished bikes across the UK, giving them freedom and independence. Every ticket bought could cover the cost of a cycle safety kit, keeping a refugee safe on the roads.
So, bring your mates to Union Chapel for a great time!

Featuring
James Acaster
Effortlessly confident, James's appreciation for the whimsy and detail of everyday life are a breath of fresh air. His laid back style, playful wit and appetite for the unconventional make for an evening of mirth and hilarity, and a night in his company is a treat to behold. Since winning Laughing Boy New Act of the Year, James has gone from strength to strength appearing on Dave's One Night Stand, Russell Howard's Good News (BBC Three), Mock The Week (BBC Two) and releasing his own three part Netflix special in 2018. 'Curious, original, immensely enjoyable stuff' (The Daily Telegraph) 'Deliciously daft and no slouch in the surprises department... One of comedy’s most original voices' (Evening Standard) 'Reminiscent of Stewart Lee or Richard Herring but suffused with enough of his own personality to sound crisp and fresh' (The Independent) 'Stand-up of the highest most playful order' (The Guardian). James Acaster was placed in Ents24's top 10 hardest-working comedians 2016.
