Between Rivers

Between Rivers is an 8-piece band led by guitarist and composer Manuel Humaran. The group made its debut earlier this year, and since then have been performing across various well-known grassroots venues in London. The group's unique sound comes from its blend of various genres such as jazz, funk and South American music, with influences from artists like Pat Metheny, Becca Stevens and Aca Seca Trio. Lyrically, the songs cover topics like nostalgia and family quite heavily.

Florence Noon, a singer-songwriter from West London, possesses a distinctive voice delivering a feel-good, laid-back style. Her compositions seamlessly weave raw, imaginative lyrics with catchy melodies and hooks influenced by a diverse array of genres, spanning from Jazz and Soul to Indie and Electronic. Her inspirations come from the likes of Amy Winehouse, Corinne Bailey Rae and Olivia Dean.
