About the show
Pianist and Dankworth prize-winning composer Lior Solomons-Wise brings his quartet to the Vortex for an evening of captivating original music.
Although born and raised in London, many of Lior’s compositions take inspiration from the wilder parts of the UK, in particular the mountainous regions, weaving simple and beautiful melodies through enchanting harmonic explorations.
A recent graduate from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, performing highlights include EFG Jazz festival appearances, the 606 club, Pizza Express Soho, Ronnie Scott's and the Vortex Jazz Club.
