About the show
The Max Luthert Trio melds the worlds of acoustic, improvsied music with electronic instruments. Utilising modular eurorack, the band create soundscapes from live sampling and effects, as well live triggering of synthesised sounds from the acoustic instruments.
With a heavy focus on improvisation, leaning on the unpredictability of the synthesisers, no two sets from the trio are ever the same.

Regarded as one of the most in-demand musicians of his generation in the UK, Max is known for his distinctive sound, approach to improvisation and is quickly generating a name for himself as a composer and band leader.
In the last couple of years Max has been performing around the UK and Europe with artists such as Zara McFarlane, Paritkel, Benet McLean, Duncan Eagles, Gareth Lockrane, Mark Mondesir, Peter Edwards and Ollie Howell.
