About the show
Cult of Dissolution returns in its third iteration, descending to The Underworld.
This night has been shaped deliberately. The lineup follows a path — from ignition to closure — carried by bands chosen through lived encounters, memory, and conviction rather than abstraction.
Läbrys open the night. Their performance at The Dev stood out for its control of atmosphere and scale — red light, smoke, and a sound that reached far beyond the size of the room. What they bring is contained, focused, and physical, setting the tone without excess.
Stahlsarg follow. We remember their set at Cosmic Void 2024 as a strong closing moment of the festival, and a fitting prelude to seeing Tormentor just after. Since then, their presence has continued to sharpen through appearances across Europe, including Orgivm Satanicvm III in Oslo and Darkened Paths in Berlin. What carries through is clarity — nothing ornamental, nothing diffuse.
Sidious return to The Underworld for the first time since 2014. Their forthcoming album, Malefic Necropolis, is listed for release at the end of January, with Bloodlust Command Infinite already offering a clear signal of direction. When introduced to the band, our Swedish friends described it simply: “Beautiful Swedish guitars. Marduk’s Frontschwein inspired.” We could not agree more. We are hoping to hear and see some of the new material live.
Closing the night are Trivax.
We last saw them at Cosmic Void 2023. We went to Islington that evening to see Mephorash, unaware of what the night would become — but Trivax captured us completely. Their latest album, The Great Satan, shows how far this path has carried them. If you have not yet seen Shayan’s acoustic performance of Operation Ramadan, it is worth your time. They are our guests for this night, and we are privileged for that.
This is the third Cult.
What follows is continuation.
This event is proudly supported by Monsta Ents.
