Featuring
Phil Ellis
Phil Ellis is a comedian and writer known for his chaotic stand-up and live performances. Phil broke onto the comedy scene with his widely acclaimed Funz and Gamez, which won the Panel Prize at the 2014 Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards. He is making his way in TV with The Tapeface Tapes (BBC3) and Phil’s Ill: Comedy Shorts (Dave).
'Ellis sets such a cracking pace. He flits around the audience with his frisky, easy banter spreading a feeling of good humoured fun' (Chortle)
'... delighting both children and (on a rather different level) adults alike' (The Daily Telegraph)
'I cannot imagine the being that would not be blown away by this ridiculously funny, shambolic gigglefest of a show' (The Scotsman)
'Wildly inappropriate... chaotic, gloriously silly' (Time Out).
Rachel Galvo is an Irish comedian based in London who has burst onto the live scene, making waves on both sides of the Irish Sea. As a 2023 graduate of Mountview’s prestigious Musical Theatre program, Galvo combined her interest in feminism and comedy—explored in her thesis on Women and Feminism in Comedy—with her wit and natural stage presence, to launch her own stand-up career.
Ahir Shah is one of comedy's brightest new talents, whose sharp brand of stand-up features a blend of socio-political awareness, energetic delivery and jokes.
'Destined to be one of the brightest stars in the British comedy firmament... a frighteningly intelligent gagsmith' (The Scotsman)
'An intense, exciting performer whose act crackles with wit, his energy holding the audience captive until lights out' (FringeGuru)
'A sophisticated comedian with an elegant, eloquent style that probes beyond the superficial' (Chortle)
'Charismatic and of rewardingly cerebral approach' (The Guardian)
'Catch him now... he's going stellar' (The List).
