ACMS: The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society

Minimum one host*. Umpteen guests. 7:30pm start. Permitted heckles. Varying price structure**. Much comedy***. Some failure. NO JERKS. All taking place in The Phoenix (by Oxford Circus tube), 37 Cavendish Square, W1G 0PP.

NB As this is our first gig back after Christmas, we're going to have an Unwanted Christmas Presents swap table, whereby you can bring something you were given and don't want to keep, and exchange it for something someone else has given away. Anything left unclaimed at the end of the gig will go to a charity shop. Whoop!

* Thom Tuck (“fruity, befuddled and increasingly melancholy” – The Guardian) and maybe another, as is double-guys traditional

** You have a solid range of ticket options. None of which will involve you being signed up for audience participation / enforced costumes / undue attention.
£10, standard ticket - no messing about, just entry to the gig
£12, banned books ticket - will get you the gig and a good book that's been prohibited from sale +/ libraries in the UK +/ US, real Streisand Effect stuff
£5, £5 ticket - it's cheaper than the other ones
£6, £6 ticket - it's cheaper than most of the other ones
£7, £7 ticket - it's cheaper than some of the other ones
£8, £8 ticket - it's that bit cheaper than the standard ones
£9, £9 ticket - it's slightly cheaper than the standard ones
