The Strokes
Few bands since the turn of the 21st century have been so influential and illustrious as The Strokes, a group whose 2001 debut album Is This It still remains one of music’s most celebrated long players – featuring at the top of countless publications’ lists of best albums of all time.
The group’s subsequent four LPs (Room On Fire, First Impressions Of Earth, Angles, Comedown Machine) and headline shows across the globe has seen their profile continue to rise – also buoyed by their respective individual projects and collaborations – with lead singer Julian Casablancas even linking up with French electronic pioneers Daft Punk on their UK #1 album, Random Access Memories.

Fat White Family
Formed in a squat in Peckham in 2011, South London's Fat White Family comprise Lias Saoudi (vocals), Nathan Saudi (keyboard), Adam Harmer (guitar), Martin Dead (drummer), and Saul Adaczewski (guitar).
Their albums and live shows have garnered critical and public adulation for their skuzzy mix of country, rock & roll, post-punk, and nihilistic psychedelia, recalling the likes of the Fall, the Birthday Party, Butthole Surfers, and Charles Manson. Various band members have also had successful side-projects, including Moonlandingz and Insecure Men.

Alex Cameron
"Cameron's obscure blend of synth-pop and neo-electronica, along with his dark, lurking persona seem to fit the criteria of a background character of a David Lynch film" - The Line Of Best Fit
A synth and indie-rock artist from Sydney, Australia, Alex co-wrote much of the material for the 5th album by The Killers, but has become a solo star in his own right. But just who is the real Alex Cameron? It's hard to say, because he lives out the role of an alter-ego and his music could all just be an act, or he could be the real deal. One things for sure though, his oddball brand of sleazy pop with 80's influences is really winning plaudits.
