In 1985, former Depeche Mode and Yazoo songwriter Vince Clarke teamed up with unknown singer Andy Bell to form what was to become one of the most successful pop duos of all time. With a string of hits to their name, including Sometimes, A Little Respect and the Abba-esque EP, Clarke's catchy electro-pop and Bell's flamboyant, camp showmanship make their rare live shows an unmissable spectacle.

Four decades into their career, they announced a 2027 tour with Vince Clarke acting as Musical Director for the tour, whilst not appearing onstage alongside Andy Bell due to personal reasons.

Mixing synth pop, shoegaze, and indie pop into a sound all their own, Ladytron formed in mid-1999. Keyboardists / programmers Daniel Hunt and Reuben Wu settled in Liverpool after a spate of traveling and DJ work in Japan. They met Bulgarian Mira Aroyo in summer 2000, who became their vocalist, while Helen Marnie, who sings and plays keyboards for the group, also joined them.

They re-emerged in 2018 following a hiatus and 2019 saw the release of their first new album in eight years, the eponymously titled 'Ladytron'.
