The Clown

Tonight is the biggest night of Milo's life. It is the opening night of his debut play at a major off-West End theatre, and Milo believes this one performance will launch him to stardom. But Milo is yet to pay the theatre owner anything for the run of the show. In fact, he owes a significant amount of money to a growing number of people. Milo will do whatever it takes to get him to where he wants to go, but he is starting to fear that he has gone too far.

As opening night unravels, his siblings grow suspicious, his company loses faith, and the weight of his late mother's tragic life begins to bear down. Set backstage over one chaotic night, this darkly funny thriller explores ambition, sacrifice and the lengths people will go to fulfil a dream.
