We’re back from our summer holidays and SO excited to be playing our first post-summer gig at the Clissold Arms on Friday 9th October!
Dust off your dancing shoes and join us for an evening of traditional music from Asia Minor, Thrace, Macedonia, Epirus and, of course, the Greek islands!
We’re delighted to be joined by our dearest friends Michalis Iskas on violin and Miltos Boumis on percussion.
Featuring - Amalgama
Amalgama consists of 3 musicians from diverse musical backgrounds who share the same love for Greek music. The band’s influences range from traditional folk songs originated from various parts of Greece to more contemporary music. An amalgam of beloved entechno, traditional and old laiko songs which bear the signature of artists such as Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Nikos Papazoglou, Chainides, Manos Loizos, Stavros Xarhakos and more.
