About the show
The Ariel Consort of London, directed by Douglas Somers-Lee, makes a welcome return to St Matthew’s Church, Wimbledon, to present a programme of English and European sacred choral music from the 16th to the 20th century.
With St Matthew's organist Jonathan Turton playing a selection of pieces at the organ, the concert will include some of the most beautiful, uplifting and rousing pieces from this remarkable treasure trove of composition. Followed by wine and nibbles in the church, and with proceeds going to St Matthew’s, the evening promises to be a treat for all fans of sacred music.
