Internationally acclaimed Norwegian pianist and composer Espen Berg brings his exceptional solo piano performance to London on December 17, offering an evening of entirely improvised music that blends lyricism, spontaneity and breathtaking virtuosity.

Recognized as “one of the most fascinating pianists of his generation”, Berg has built a reputation for creating immersive, unpredictable musical landscapes in real time. His solo concerts have been praised worldwide for their emotional depth, structural clarity, and remarkable flow—music that feels both carefully sculpted and completely free at the same time.

Espen played a sold-out show at Ronnie Scott’s with his trio in April 2024. In December he will participate in Toby Gad’s concerts in The View from The Shard on Dec 15 and 16, before presenting his own solo concert in St. James’s church on Dec 17. This London performance will be a one-night-only opportunity to experience Berg’s creative universe up close. Every concert is unique; every melody is born in the moment.
