Join the Albion Orchestra at St Gabriel’s, Pimlico for an evening of wit, elegance, and theatrical flair. The concert opens with Britten’s Simple Symphony, a youthful work that transforms childhood melodies into music of clarity and character. This is followed by Haydn’s Farewell Symphony, a piece celebrated not only for its classical poise but also for its quietly subversive theatrical gesture…

After the interval, Samuel Arnold’s Overture in D major sets the scene with energy and charm before violinist Esther Yoo concludes the programme with Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5, an expressive masterpiece that blends elegance with surprise, showcasing Mozart’s extraordinary gift for lyricism and drama.
