Ice-skating champions Torvill and Dean have been skating together since the late seventies. The duo became British heroes after winning the European and World Championships four times each. In 1984 they took Gold at the Winter Olympics, picking up an unheard of perfect score. Since retiring from competitive skating in 1998, they have both been awarded OBE’s, and more recently have been coaches on ITV’s hugely successful Dancing On Ice series. They continue to work professionally both separately and as a pair.
