Spike and The Gimme Gimmes (formerly known as Me First and the Gimme Gimmes) is a punk rock supergroup and cover band that formed in San Francisco in 1995. They are a conglomerate of some of the most recognisable faces in new-school punk consisting of Spike Slawson, C. J. Ramone and Joey Cape. Drawn together by a mutual love of '60s and '70s music, the Gimme Gimmes work exclusively as a cover band. Their repertoire include songs from such acts as Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, and John Denver.
