Baroness

Baroness is a metal band from Savannah, Georgia, whose members grew up together in Lexington, Virginia. Baroness formed in mid-2003, founded by former members of the punk/metal band Johnny Welfare and the Paychecks.

Graveyard

Psyche-rockers from Gotheburg, Sweden. Rooted in late Sixties heavy rock and psyche, with the pre-metal of Deep Purple, Steppenwolf and Nazz. A veritable clash of folk, psychedelic, and blues makes for a mind-bending trip back to the days of Cream, Sabbath, and Blue Cheer.

Pallbearer

Pallbearer emerged from Little Rock, Arkansas in 2012 with a stunning debut full-length, Sorrow and Extinction. The record, which played like a seamless 49-minute doom movement, melded pitch-perfect vintage sounds with a triumphant modern sensibility that made songs about death and loss feel joyfully ecstatic. Pallbearer possessed what many other newer metal groups didn't: perfect guitar tone, classic hooks, and a singer who could actually sing.
