Azymuth
This Legendary Brazilian group first came together in the early 70s and have enjoyed a huge following ever since. Massively influential throughout their long history, Azymuth have pioneered a sound that is an infectious combination of jazzy interludes, soothing Bossa Novas, space-age funk, blessed-out beats, broken funk and traditional Samba. Drummer and one of the founding memembers, Ivan Conti, sadly passed away in April 2023. Fellow members, Alex Malheirous and Kiko Continentino, decided to continue with their live shows in honour of their late friend.
