After 7 years, the Parkinsons return to play a one-off London gig in aid of our dear friend Mike Spencer, with all proceeds reverting to his cancer treatment fund.

Their stage show, already the stuff of legend (smashed equipment and full-frontal nudity), has succeeded in overshadowing the Parkinsons' music. Described by Kerrang! as 'shoddy genius', their sound harks back to the fuzzed-up retro punk of The Stooges, The Pistols and The Ramones and is a blast from start to finish. 'Anyone failing to enjoy the four-pronged aural assault of these part-Portugese deviants simply can't have a pulse!'
