Join The Theatrical Guild for an afternoon of intimate and candid conversation with BAFTA-nominated actor, James Norton (A Little Life, Happy Valley, Joy). This one-off event will be hosted by fellow actor and childhood friend, Claire Cartwright. It promises to be a rare opportunity to delve into the life, career and craft of one of the UK’s most versatile stage and screen talents.
From his early days in Yorkshire performing in a youth theatre group, to becoming a household name, James will share personal stories, challenges and triumphs. Guided by Claire, expect a warm and lively discussion that spans his journey from break-through roles to his most recent work, offering an insightful glimpse into the realities of navigating a career in acting.
All funds raised will support the charity’s Beneficiary Grants Programme for Backstage and Front of House theatre.
James Norton is an English film, television, and stage actor best known for roles in the television series Happy Valley, Grantchester, War & Peace and McMafia.
