EMEI presents A Night At The Opera
EMEI presents A Night At The Opera at KOKO, London
About the show
After gathering over a quarter-of-a-billion streams, selling out shows and attracting multi-GRAMMY Award-winning producer Ricky Reed in her corner, New-Jersey born Chinese-American songstress Emei has now announced a handful of special performances in the UK.
These shows will celebrate the theatricality of her Night At The Opera EP, a bright and defining project that spotlights Emei’s enigmatic, unapologetic and utterly unique perspective. With collaboration from Ricky Reed (Lizzo, Leon Bridges, Camilla Cabello, Phantogram, Jon Batiste), this EP captures Emei in her rawest form.
She says: “The project was born from grief. It’s a big elevation from my past music, because it was written during a season of intense and extreme emotions”.
