What should have been her big break becomes an implosion, as international press and backstage chaos collide. This is a scathing satire of the theatre industry’s hunger for controversy and commercialisation of identity politics. As her career unravels in real time, she’s forced to confront her own beliefs and complicity, all while trying to hold it together as a parent back home.
