Future soul / trip hop from London.Ego Ella May classifies her sound as 'future soul'. The self-taught songwriter, producer, guitarist, and vocalist, who hails from from South London released her debut EP, The Tree, in March 2013. Spaced-out and sparse yet stimulating, reminiscent of narcotic alternative R&B albums such as Spacek's Curvatia and Kissey Asplund's Plethora, it was an impressive first step.
