A celebration of the life of Neil Innes - ‘How Sweet To Be An Idiot’ is coming to indigo at The O2 this November.
Join this celebration to help remember comic, musician, and actor Neil Innes. Known as much for his wit, musicianship, and philosophy as the people he worked with, Neil was one of the great songwriters, comedians and bon viveurs. He wrote songs about the human condition, songs for children, comedy songs, songs about life, uplifting songs, hilarious songs, songs from the heart.
Loved by everyone he worked with, this show will feature Neil’s music and many special guests, including Musical Director John Altman, Michael Palin, Terry Gilliam, The Rutles, Tommy Emmanuel, Ade Edmondson, Phill Jupitus, Tom McGuinness, Elliott Randall, Roger McGough, Yo La Tengo, Terrafolk, John Halsey, Andy Roberts, Ricky Fataar, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Larry Smith, Brian Patton, Micky Simmonds, Kevin Eldon, Micko Westmorland, plus a host of others still to be announced.
Please note that the artists appearing may be subject to change.
Sir Michael Palin is an English comedian, actor, writer and television presenter known for being one of the members of the comedy group Monty Python and for his travel documentaries.

The tragic history of The Rutles was essential primetime TV - at least on RWT (Rutland Weekend Television). Former Bonzo Dog and the 'Seventh' Monty Python member Neil Innes - with a welter of friends (although not Eric Idle) - recreate the magic of the Prefab Four.
