Lucy Tasker Trio

About the show

Lucy Tasker brings her trio to the Green Note, where they will present a mix of original compositions and arrangements, paying tribute to Benny Goodman, Jacques Brel, Carole King, and many more. These three versatile improvisers assemble a variety of diverse musical influences in their playing, including swing, Balkan music, French chanson, and more contemporary sounds. Expect delicate interactions between some of London’s finest swing and jazz musicians, original translations of songs, and reinterpretations of jazz and pop standards ranging from the early 20th century until the present day.
