Soul.Blues Xmas Party Plus Special Guests

Soul.Blues features a remarkable collaboration of blues and soul maestros joining up the musical dots between the two genres. This exciting line-up features the multi-award-winning drum legend Sam Kelly, an original member of cult band Cymande who along the way has played with the likes of Robert Plant, Dr John and Gary Moore (on his album Bad For You Baby), Atama Blues Bentley, the much-feted Fijan bluesman on powerhouse guitar and soulful vocals and the noted bassist Richard Sadler, known for his groove playing, studio and band work with Ray Davis, (Kinks) Paul Weller and Tom Jones.
Soul.Blues will be joined by some very special guests for this unique blues and soul showcase including the much feted London based percussionist Sophie Alloway and the Aussie keyboard star Jennifer Carr. Sophie played drums for the acclaimed rapper Roots Minerva, touring New Zealand and Australia for two years, before appearing on ‘Later With Jools Holland’ and performing at festivals such as Glastonbury Festival and Hop Farm. Jennifer Carr, (Julia Fordham, Beverley Craven, Billy Ocean, Imelda May) has contributed to six albums by iconic country-soul singer/songwriter Jeb Loy Nichols and backed artists from the legendary Muscle Shoals stable, Bonnie Bramlett, Donnie Fritts and Larry Jon Wilson. These two gifted players will be adding their own distinct musicality to this exciting Xmas show.
