The Joanna Eden Trio “Joni & Me” (An Affectionate Celebration Of Joni Mitchell’s Music): The much-celebrated singer/songwriter Joanna Eden presents a breath-taking show in celebration of her hero, Joni Mitchell, lovingly recreating Joni’s masterpieces. Join Joanna on a musical journey through the myriad of ideas, textures, themes and emotions of Mitchell’s canon. Together with acclaimed bassist and guitarist Andres Lafone and the illustrious pianist & guitarist Chris Ingham, Eden lovingly interprets and reimagines iconic songs such as “Both Sides Now”, “Woodstock” and “Big Yellow Taxi”. In the ‘me’ part of “Joni & Me”, Joanna traces Joni’s influence over some of her own songs and describes introducing multi-Grammy award winner Sam Smith to Joni’s songs and how it felt to watch her now super star student’s emergence as a noted singer/songwriter.
