Roll Deep

Roll Deep are a grime super collective from East London. Wiley set Roll Deep up while he was still in Pay As U Go, he'd made the track 'Terrible' after his famous PAUG production 'Know We' but, because the new tune featured MCs outside of Pay As You Go, a new name was needed to put out the track. Roll Deep was the name that was decided after a suggestion by Flow Dan as they were a group who "roll deep" together. The two crews existed alongside each other until Pay As U Go completely disintegrated. The crew gradually got more recognition, both through new members and the emergence of Dizzee Rascal, who was ushered into the crew by Wiley.
