Portraits of an Apparition

Portraits of an Apparition is the brainchild of drummer / multi-instrumentalist Jay Weinberg (Slipknot, Suicidal Tendencies) and noise artist Conner Sullivan (Argus, Snooper).

The band was created for an invitation-only performance at King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard’s inaugural Field of Vision festival in 2025, but by the end of that performance it was clear that one show would not be enough and so they have carried on creating doomy dance party for their fans.
