Mozart Requiem

For their much-loved annual Patronal Festival Concert, the Choir of Christ Church Southgate, directed by William Waine, and the professional Bach Sinfonia, led by Liz Partridge, present one of the most powerful and enduring works in the choral repertoire - Mozart’s Requiem.

Written in the final year of Mozart’s life, the Requiem is a work of extraordinary intensity, drama and beauty. Its magnificent orchestral writing, unforgettable choral passages and deeply human expression have made it one of Mozart’s most beloved works.

The programme also features Mozart’s Masonic Funeral Music, alongside music by Handel and Weelkes.
