Score Sessions is a new series from These Crooked Fingers - a collective of ten of London's most exciting emerging film composers, brought together by TCF co-founders Harry and Seb to do something that hasn't been done before.

Each session gives the collective a single brief, a live ensemble, and one night to perform a film score written collectively from scratch.

For Score Sessions 001, the brief is to find the sonic world that lies somewhere between One Battle After Another, The Brutalist and Taxi Driver - and within that world, to let each composer's own character and flair speak for itself.

The ensemble brings together drums, guitar, harp, a string quartet and a carefully chosen array of wind instruments - intimate enough to be raw, rich enough to fill a room.

This is more than a gig. It's a film scoring event, a creative experiment and a community - an attempt to fuse the energy of a rock night with the world of film music networking. A space where composers can be heard, discovered and celebrated.
