About the show
For the very first time, the legendary London Community Gospel Choir (LCGC) bring their celebrated sound to Boisdale of Canary Wharf for a special Sunday Lunch performance.
A 7-piece choir and 4-piece band will fill the room with LCGC’s signature blend of power, precision and soul.
Founded in 1982 by Rev Bazil Meade, LCGC has grown from modest beginnings into Europe’s leading gospel ensemble, recognised worldwide for their extraordinary harmonies, uplifting energy and boundary-crossing musicianship. Their performances have graced the FA Cup Final at Wembley, Glastonbury, Live 8 and even The Grammys, earning them a Guinness World Record and a reputation as one of the most influential vocal groups of their kind.
Expect a dynamic programme of gospel favourites enriched with smooth R&B elements and the rich vocal textures that define the choir.
