Join us for Friday Night Jazz at the Atrium Bar & Restaurant, President Hotel, Russell Square. On 21 August, we are delighted to present the legendary jazz guitarist Jim Mullen, accompanied by Soner Ersen (piano), Andy Cleyndert (bass), and Eric Ford (drums).
Jim Mullen is one of Britain's most celebrated jazz guitarists, with a career spanning more than five decades. Renowned for his distinctive touch, warm tone, and lyrical improvisation, he has performed and recorded with many of the world's leading jazz artists, including Mose Allison, Jimmy Smith, Terry Callier, Jimmy Witherspoon, and The Average White Band. A recipient of the BBC Jazz Award for Services to Jazz, Jim continues to inspire audiences with his masterful musicianship and unmistakable sound.
Together, they will present an evening of outstanding live jazz, featuring exceptional musicianship, inspired improvisation, and a unique programme shaped by Jim Mullen's distinctive musical voice.

Jim Mullen is a multi-award winning guitarist with a unique jazz style and sound, who is regarded as the high priest of the instrument by most young jazz guitarists. His quartet was in existence for six years from 1996 and is one of the most powerful ever to appear on the British jazz scene.
Soner Ersen
Soner Ersen is a London based jazz pianist and educator. He participates in different projects as a pianist, keyboardist, composer and educator. He is currently teaching at London Music House and gigging in London and abroad with his trio/quartet.
