The Duo Schad-Hejazi (baritone Jakob Schad and pianist Parvis Hejazi) brings together two of the richest cycles in the German Lied tradition: Robert Schumann’s Dichterliebe Op.48 and Johannes Brahms’s Neun Lieder und Gesänge Op.32. Both works explore the intimate landscape of love and longing, though in strikingly different voices.
