This recital marks the launch of Anastasiya Bazhenova’s debut album, built as a single inner journey rather than a traditional programme. Beginning with Mendelssohn’s Songs Without Words and Fantasia in F-sharp minor, the music explores clarity, balance, and the fragile effort required to sustain them. Prokofiev’s Sixth Sonata opens a radically different space — raw, exposed, and uncompromising.
The path between these worlds is not historical, but psychological: a movement from trust in form toward a reality where stability can no longer be assumed. This concert is conceived as a continuous inner process — intimate, intense, and unfiltered — inviting the listener into a landscape where beauty, tension, and resistance coexist.
