Rosellas
A load of guitars in a world full of synth. Manchester based guitar band Rosellas give a cheeky nod to the bands of 90’s Manchester; while drawing sonic comparisons to the Arctic Monkeys and DMA’s, with a melodic sophisticated edge. In front man Drew Selby; Rosellas have the kind of cheeky, cockiness that has come to be the antithesis of Manc bands over the decades, as with his forebearers; Drew has the vocals, song writing and presence to back it up. Rosellas have another gear with the infusion of Keys player Luis Sullivan’s vocals, adding another dimension to the melodies that are quickly becoming iconic of the Rosellas. Drew and Euan Mail (Rhythm Guitar), take their song writing inspiration from bands such as the Smiths, the Stone Roses and Oasis, influencing a perfect blend of energetic heavier crowd pleasers and softer acoustic tunes.
