About the show

The slowest wall of death returns to Southside...

Swamp Coffin are back - this time co-headlining with Dunes to celebrate 10 years of shredding it and bonus support from Buffalode,

Serving seven slabs of uncompromising, emotional metal on their second album Drowning Glory. Pushing themselves musically further than ever before the album featured in numerous end of year Best Of lists and managed to gain Radio 1 airplay with the single This Was Always Going To End In War. The riffs are bigger than ever, the grooves heavier and lean further in to their death metal and hardcore influences. This is a band baring their souls in a way only they know how- fuzz, volume and screaming.

Hot from Arctantent, they're bringing their downtuned sludge misery to stages across the country, the trio have recruited members to their Bastard Club along the way, opening for the likes of Obituary, Crowbar, Eyehategod, Goatwhore, Conan, Raging Speedhorn and Bongzilla.

Co-Headlining is Dunes - a stoner rock/alt-rock band based in Newcastle. Known for marrying up hard hitting riffs with hook-laden melodies, the three-piece channel a handful of Northern grit through the fuzzed-out, cranked-up, trip-tinged sounds of the infamous generator parties of the 90’s desert rock scene and the beer-soaked, sweat-drenched, feedback engulfed clubs of the grunge era.
