About the show
Rockin’ With Raucous brings a genuine rockin’ heavyweight to Leicester as legendary British neo-rockabilly pioneers The Blue Cats headline Duffy’s on Saturday 24th April 2027. Born from the explosive British rockabilly revival of the early ’80s, The Blue Cats fused 1950s rock ’n’ roll with the attitude and energy of the post-punk era, helping define the neo-rockabilly sound along the way.
Joining them are The Go-Katz, the psychobilly outfit formed in 1986 and one of the bands from the formative years of the UK psychobilly scene. Their sound combines rockabilly roots with punk energy and attitude, and after various incarnations and extended breaks, they are back in action with the same wild spirit that made them a distinctive part of the scene.
Howlin’ Bones bring their own gloriously unhinged take on rockabilly, hurtling from track to track at breakneck speed with a sound that sits somewhere between hillbilly, garage rockabilly and punk. Their own description of the music as “desperate trash can rock ’n’ roll” pretty much tells you everything you need to know.
Opening the night are Hollie Vee & The Hubkaps, serving up a gritty mixture of lo-fi rock ’n’ soul and rockabilly. Formed in 2011, they put their own alternative twist on early ’50s classics, giving familiar favourites a fresh shake, rattle and, quite possibly, a Cha Cha Twist.
Featuring - The Blue Cats

The Blue Cats were pioneers of the early-1980s British neo-rockabilly scene, taking the spirit of 1950s rockabilly and injecting it with the energy of the post-punk era. With Clint Bradley's distinctive vocals, powerful slap bass and original songs such as “Wild Night” and “Fight Back”, they became one of the most influential bands of the early British rockin' scene.
The Go-Katz

THE GO-KATZ - UK Psychobilly • Rockabilly • Punk Attitude
The Go-Katz are a British psychobilly band formed in Loughborough in 1986.
They were the first band ever released on Raucous Records, issuing their debut 7" EP in 1987.
Built around rockabilly roots, psychobilly energy and a healthy dose of punk attitude, The Go-Katz quickly established themselves as a distinctive live band, playing shows and appearing on compilation albums in the UK and across Europe.
After various line-ups and periods of activity over the years, founder member Howard Raucous revived The Go-Katz in 2026 after a 14-year break from performing.
Howlin' Bones
Rockabilly band skittering from track to track at breakneck speed as though some wires got seriously crossed deep within a Sun Studios console, these fellas have got to be seen to be believed.
Hollie V & The Hubkaps

Hollie V and The Hubkaps conjure up a mixture of gritty low-fi rock n soul and rockabilly. Formed in early 2011 they have quickly gained a reputation for their alternative takes of early 50s classics with a twist, a 'Cha Cha Twist' maybe! They are en route to becoming one of the class acts of a growing alternative scene in the UK and Europe!
'All the energy of youth bottled and then shaken up until ready to explode'.
