Jack-Austin Despy, from Essex, is already being recognised as one of the UK’s brightest new blues talents. At thirteen he performed at the Rory Gallagher Festival UK in Nantwich where he amazed the audience with his guitar skills. Despite his youth, he appeared at major venues and festivals including the Ballyshannon Rhythm & Blues Festival, Rory Gallagher International Tribute Festival in Ballyshannon, and the iconic 100 Club in London. In 2025 and 2026 he was nominated for the UK Blues Federation awards: Jules Fothergill Young Blues Artist of the Year in which he was a finalist.
