About the show
Following two hugely popular tours in 2024/2025, Colin Sutton will once again head out to spend an evening with fans and true crime enthusiasts in 2026. In this brand new show, he will talk in great detail about how policing has changed over the years, exploring the ever-evolving aspect of science vs. investigation. With younger detectives never having known a world without forensic DNA, what impact has that had on the way crimes are investigated? Is there a “best” way to carry out an investigation and what are the repercussions when one side fails?
This show will offer a unique insight into how teams of detectives look for evidence, what they do with it, and how the outcome of a trial doesn’t always match what is presented to a court of law. Colin will discuss specific cases and how investigations were taken in different directions depending on the evidence available.
