About the show

We are excited to be hosting Horn Factory back at St Peter's in 2026 for another great night of big band music to kick of the Jazz by the Waterfront 2026 season.

Since 1998, Horn Factory has been bringing together some of the top musicians in the area to create their own brand of fast moving, hard hitting, foot tapping contemporary jazz.

Horn Factory play a wide range of contemporary big band jazz music from composers including Buddy Rich, Bob Mintzer, James Morrison, Sammy Nestico and Gordon Goodwin among others. They also play big arrangements of music normally associated with smaller groups, including music from the likes of Chick Corea and Horace Silver. Most of the charts have been composed in the last 15 years, bringing the big band genre right up to date with music that absolutely crackles with energy.

Seating is cabaret style, with communal tables and some smaller tables available. Seating is unreserved. Our fully licensed bar will be open throughout the night.
