About the show
Julian has played concert, club, festivals and broadcasting dates with his own band and with the great’s of jazz like George Chisholm, Don Lusher, Kenny Baker and Cleo & John Dankworth. Sir John Dankworth stated “Julian is the best clarinettist to emerge in British jazz for decades”. Craig Milverton is sought after as a skilled accompanist to such star vocalists as Stacey Kent and Tina May. His trios are regularly required to back visiting American soloists at festivals and venues across the country including Scott Hamilton, Ken Peplowski and Warren Vache. Few British pianists have Craig’s thorough knowledge and grasp of jazz styles. Performance starts at 7:30pm, doors from 6:30pm with bar available.

An established traditional/mainstream exponent of the clarinet, as well as a composer, who has worked with some of the finest bands and players around. Expect a funky jazz sound, with an occasional Latin flavour and some new material as well.
