About the show
A cracking night of live stand-up comedy at Hurley Village Hall, headlined by Christian Reilly.
Christian is one of the most respected performers on the UK comedy scene, known for his intelligent, musical stand-up and heard regularly on BBC Radio 4. His comedy is sharp, thoughtful and brilliantly constructed, blending strong writing with confident live performance. Praised by Chortle as “a masterclass in stand-up”, he’s a genuine headline act who consistently delivers.
Opening the show is Carl Jones, a Nottingham Comedy Festival Award winner with a reputation as one of the safest pairs of hands on the circuit. Carl’s comedy is smart, observant and packed with punchlines, delivered with an easy confidence that wins over any room. Described by Chortle as “very funny”, he’s the perfect act to get the night off to a flying start.
The night is supported by Mackenzie Pike and Aaron Williams, two exciting newer acts bringing fresh material and energy, and hosted by Patrick Draper, praised as “a bulletproof act” by Stagefright Comedy, keeping the night running smoothly from start to finish.
A warm, friendly club night with a proper bar, great atmosphere, and top-quality comedy throughout.
