Phoenix Lake
Originally formed as 'Descending Angels', in 2018 guitarists Ash Wilson & Zak Smith recruited Lana Phillis as vocalist. Re-forging themselves as ‘Phoenix Lake’, the band finalised their female-fronted melodic metal outfit with drummer Joe Synnott. With comparison to Within Temptation, Parkway Drive & Evanescence, ‘Phoenix Lake’ deliver tastes of melodic metal & metalcore with alluring vocals & beautiful harmonies. Debut EP ‘Beyond The Flames’, written before the shadow of the COVID19 pandemic, has undergone several iterations. Re-sculpted & re-recorded, each song has been painstakingly crafted & released as a polished yet powerful track listing that is fast-gathering acclaim alongside their explosive live performances.
