Our Comedy Cellars are intimate, relaxed and full of laughs. These monthly nights of stand-up are the perfect way to see the top comedians on the circuit right here in Huddersfield.
Featuring - Christian Reilly
Now a solo headline act all over the globe, Christian uses his improvisations, sharp wit, youthful energy, guitar skills and vocal mimicry to target histrionic rock bands, musical theatre and morose indie musicians with his charming onstage confidence machine-gunning impossibly catchy tunes with hysterical lyrical content. His solo Edinburgh Festival Show, ‘Lost In Music’ was sold out, critically acclaimed and was the winner of the 'Spirit Of The Fringe' Award.
In 1999 Christian started playing guitar and singing for the American comic polymath Rich Hall. High points included winning the Perrier Award in 2001 for "Rich Hall is Otis Lee Crenshaw", being on subsequent CD and DVD releases, seeing the world, appearing on stage with Seinfeld star Michael Richards and getting on Late Night with Conan O' Brien.
He was a regular on a BBC radio show with the Richard Herring, called That Was Then, This Is Now that was critically acclaimed
and lasted for 3 series. This led to a key role in Herring’s groundbreaking podcast, As It Occurs To Me which ran for three years and won a Chortle award for best internet comedy and appearances on Radio 2’s ‘Jammin’.

Clad in a sartorially edifying manner, like a dapper and dandy funeral director, Anthony cuts a unique on-stage presence with humour blacker than a raven that's slammed it's claw in a coffin lid.
And not the merest hint of profanity.
The overall effect is both perversely hypnotic and wholly original, leaving the audience zealously hanging on to every syllable like turncoat lemmings on a rockface.
