About the show

RANAGRIhttps://ranagri.com/
This is a gig which has been a long time in the planning but now the stars have aligned so we can finally announce that Ranagri will be playing for us at Grayshott Village Hall on Saturday 19th September 2026. This year, Ranagri have already completed tours in Australia and across the UK but we've managed to grab them as they travel the UK on a second tour.
Award-winning Anglo/Irish band Ranagri are: guitarist, singer, prolific song writer and producer Dónal Rogers, who formed the band with the exceptional flautist and whistle player Eliza Marshall (https://elizamarshall.com/). Highly skilled harpist Eleanor Dunsdon and top percussionist Jordan Murray make up the quartet.
At different times, the band add instrumentation including bouzouki, bodhrán, and hammered dulcimer, making the unique and mesmerising sound of Ranagri.
For more than ten years together, they have created a fresh and modern sonic landscape within the Folk genre, captivating audiences both domestically and internationally. They can be a full-on festival band, but are equally at home playing Folk Clubs with their more intimate writing and thought-provoking lyrics.
