Renowned guitarist and composer Aziz Ibrahim has announced a highly anticipated, unique solo return performance at the Spring Bank Arts Centre.
Famous for his work with legendary British bands The Stone Roses, Simply Red, and Asia, Ibrahim will step away from large-scale full band setups for one night only. This exclusive evening offers audiences a rare, close-up look at his extraordinary technical mastery and genre-blending compositions.
This highly anticipated performance follows closely on the heels of his massively successful, sold-out album launch party for 'Lahore to Longsight' held at the prestigious Manchester Museum. Visitors to the New Mills show will experience a completely different, seated, and deeply personal setlist specially curated for a New Mills audience.
The concert will highlight Ibrahim’s signature "Desi Guitar" style, combining traditional acoustic guitar skills with live loops, visual storytelling, and South Asian musical scales. The intimate setting of the converted High Peak church venue provides the perfect acoustic backdrop for his intricate storytelling and world-class showmanship.
