About the show
Peiriant have now released two lovely albums, an EP, and several singles. Their last album, Dychwelyd, was made the Guardian's Folk Album of the Month.
They perform experimental music with Violin, Electric Guitar, Moog Grandmother and pedals. The mood ranges from ambient and soundscape to sound art and noise, and the listener will detect references to baroque music, kosmische, and electronica.

Peiriant are a duo of violin and electric guitar, who play with melody and tonality to create atmosphere and soundscape. Electronic equipment, samples and found objects also add to their semi-improvised pieces, which are spun from grounded ideas.
