About the show
Award-winning Irish singer-songwriter ARBORIST plays The Trades Club on Sunday May 3rd. This special matinee show will be a duo performance. Tickets £10 (£9 members).
Arborist is the musical moniker of Belfast-based Mark McCambridge. Across three critically acclaimed albums, Mark has honed a unique ambient-folk sound.
His third album 'An Endless Sequence of Dead Zeros’, recorded at Spacebomb Studios in Virginia, won the Northern Ireland Music Prize.
His spine-tingling ballads and playful lyricism have attracted esteemed fans - Arborist has collaborated with Kim Deal (Pixies, The Breeders) and shared a bill with the likes of Public Service Broadcasting, James Yorkston and The Delines.
In 2025, he recorded the stunning track - ‘Are You Still The King?’ - for a ‘ghost of Elvis’-themed compilation album curated by Bill Drummond (The KLF).
The Trades Club gig is a rare English date for Arborist, who is releasing a new album in 2026.
MOJO: “Mesmerising - ★★★★”
