One of Britain's top saxophonists and clarinettists, Alan Barnes also delivers some very funny between-numbers repartee and has been described as a worthy successor to the late Ronnie Scott. His Horace Silver tribute CD received glowing review: 'Alan Barnes has unerringly caught the most infectious qualities of the originals - spirited good humour, earthy bluesiness and occasionally exquisite romantic delicacy' (The Guardian). Alan is joined by Jim Hart (Vibes), Andy Cleyndert (bass) and Paul Clavis (drums).
